P6-FDA-001: Using Primavera P6 for Schedule Forensic Delay Analysis

2 DAYS

This course provides in-depth training on how to conduct a schedule forensic delay analysis within P6. It starts with establishing a quality P6 baseline programme in line with current best practices. Different advanced scheduling scenarios will be presented and debated. We will then discuss delay types and introduce the delay analysis techniques, discussing their applicability and use. Finally, we will carry out the various analyses in P6 and examine the subtleties of using P6 in this manner. The course will conclude with a comparison of each technique, and a presentation of a reporting template for schedule impacts.

We will examine various scenarios and apply the delay analysis techniques taught in the class to these scenarios, discussing the results of each method.

I recently completed the Primavera P6-Forensic Delay Analysis Course offered by PMIS. It was comprehensive, fast paced, and has equipped me with the skills to clearly demonstrate delay using various methods depending on the circumstances. Indeed on the first day in work after the course I began implementing what I learned which not only covered FDA, but also scheduling best practice and countless tips and advice on how to best to approach many situations. The backing of PMIS by Engineers Ireland, and by being an Oracle Gold Partner shows the quality of the courses available. The real world experience offered by our professional trainer (Raymond Poole) through many examples demonstrated that he knew how best to apply P6 to actual situations, and was not simply someone who knew the software. I had the same standard of training from PMIS as when I completed my Primavera Introductory Course over 6 years ago, and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in need of a quality Primavera education.
